She is small for her age, she is kind and she is spirited. She is not shy, and she is articulate. She loves spaghetti, reads like a 10 year old and can dance (and sing) like nobody is watching. Her sisters adore her, and for the most part she will do pretty much whatever they say (Eve) or whatever they need (baby V). She is six, and we love her to the moon and back. Happy (belated) birthday Miss Nevaeh !!!

It is amazing how quickly the time passes. We are already celebrating the first 2 months of this wee ones life and felt it would be a perfect time to share her entry into the world. I had never had the chance to share in such an incredible experience and am forever grateful that my friend allowed me to not only be in the room capturing every moment…but to also support her through such an amazing part of her life. Simply typing this has me a bit teary.
Michele you are amazing. I am beyond honored and it is truly a day I will never forget. You are one tough cookie! Not a sound I tell yah. It was a day full of laughs, lip gloss, silly poses, girlie magazines, zen music, and well…the arrival of one perfectly perfect little lady. Miss Vivienne Willa-Rae. I laughed, I cried, I laughed some more and than I cried some more because I so badly wanted pics done when I had Kailyn and there was just no one to do it 
But seriously this is absolutely beautiful Michele! You look fantastic and my fave pic is the one that Brooke got after she was born with the tear running down your face. That got me *right there*. Loved it!

a million thank you’s to Brooke for being “my person”AND photographer…the hubby doesn’t cope well with me in pain;) In my defense Brooke was beside me through the bad parts and there was no way i could let her move to grab the cam. wasn’t happening! So it wasn’t all sunshine! I had a scheduled induction first thing so was able to shower, do my hair and not look like crap for the pics! After a slow start the contractions started – I was 4cm, got the epidural( after waiting 2 hours ) – epidural fell out on the FLOOR 45 min later and obviously didn’t work – they checked me and I was 10cm BUT the hubby was 45 min away getting our girls. So, another epidural was put in ( which didn’t work other than concentrating every speck of pain into a spot the size of a toonie on my abdomen…WAY worse than being spread out in my opinion)! this was all a blessing in disguise though, as the hubby made it in time…YAYYYYY! On a side note, we opted to do the cord blood banking this time around and I would highly recommend it – painless and relatively quick and has given me peace of mind:) To the ladies out there with upcoming births… I’ve had a gf with me for each birth as well as the hubby, and if your man isn’t comfy with the whole experience I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

Beautiful slideshow Brooke. Um….it’s not normal to look that good when you’re giving birth Michele…seriously! You look like a movie star going through a fake TV birth haha. It brought tears to my eyes…great captures!
Okay, so they’re not all that scary, but they are pretty darned cute! My girlies are quite obviously cats ( thank you to the GAP for providing their outfits…haha)!…quite unoriginal but the girls and I dressed up in our kitty ears and my hubby went all out and was a crazy old cat lady….satin robe, chignon, HUGE stuffed bra and all. It was pretty fab, just unfortunate we didn’t get a pic. sniff sniff. Next year when the new babe isn’t so high maintenance we have big plans. BIG! ( Brooke, you are genius)! As for B’s kiddos…their costumes were ridiculous and most bits were found at good ol Value Village. Isla was the sweetest little Pinkalicious, and her bits n pieces were tracked down and put together by her Mama. Si was a sasquatch…yes, a SASQUATCH. I mean, really? I would have stuck my kid in a fur coat and glued some hair to his face. But no, Miss B had to hand stitch the entire costume. Pretty freakin awesome if you ask me. Hope everyone’s Halloween was fabulous… I guess this means game on for Christmas decorating?! hehe.

Si and Nevaeh were lucky enough to attend a “Thriller” dance workshop and had to dress like zombies. These were our interpretations and they ROCKED it, each winning a prize for their costumes. So “bloody” cute!crazy love.Miss Haley as the sweetest nerd EVER.Pinkalicious.Sorry Mark, I can’t even look at you this is SO disturbing. Brooke, your costume suited you perfectly. hehe.bahahahaha. tell me this isn’t the best costume ever! I am telling you, this boy was a sasquatch!couldn’t you just squeeze her?meow.yes, i am biased but think they may win the prize for cutest kitties of 2011.you guessed it. a fave, even if it is a bit blurry.they’re pretty awesome. happy halloween!!!

Such an incredible way to wrap up the busy wedding season. We know we often say we are lucky to spend our days doing what we do…and these two are exactly why. The second we met, we just knew that this was a day we had to be a part of. A fabulous Vancouver wedding, an incredible couple, lavender bouquets, beautiful colours…really…the perfect day.
Thank you both ever so much. Could you possibly get married again next year…we would LOVE to have you in front of our cameras all over again!
